Brandi passante became an overnight celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars. Also, it included Jarrod Schulz who was her boyfriend for many years, and later husband. On the show, storage lockers that have not been paid their rent over the last 3 months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California were part of this program hoping to find some cheap storage units. They had no idea that the show would transform them into reality TV celebrities. Over the course of the program they proved to be extremely shrewd bidders, and eventually emerged as the top performers on the show. Their success on the reality show helped them expand their business. They opened another store in addition to one that they had already run. After their appearance on 'Storage wars', the spin-off show "Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the Job" was made specifically for the couple.
